Getting to Trøndelag

Trøndelag is easy to reach, by air, car, coach, train or boat. There are good flight connections to many European cities and the coastal cruise Hurtigruten makes regular stops in both Trondheim and Rørvik.

By air
The airport Trondheim Lufthavn Værnes is an important gateway to Trøndelag. In addition to a large number of domestic flights there are also many direct international flights, eg. from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam and London. The airline Widerøe operates daily services from Trondheim to Namsos and Rørvik, and DOT LT operates the route from Oslo to Røros. Air Norway has flights every day apart from Saturday between Ørlandet and Oslo, with connecting flights to Aalborg (Denmark).
