Activities for dare devils

Overcoming your own fear is an exhilarating feeling. Take part in some of the most challenging activities found in Trøndelag, if you dare..
Vengavollspranget, a leap across the river Driva in Oppdal, features high up on the list of stomach-wrenching thrills. Attached to a wire you swing 150 metres from one side of the river to the other. The water is a 30-metre plunge away. Pity the person who finds this too much as you’ll have to go through it once more to get back.
In the wet element
Rafting in the rivers of Forra, Stjørdalselva or Driva offers tough challenges. Rafting in a river kayak is an even more thrilling experience. And wetter. If you are very fit you can even try river boarding down the rapids.
Way up high
Would you like to combine courage, physical strength and a love of heights? Then try mountaineering, or even more thrilling, abseiling. Canyoning is another exciting and varied activity, involving wading through pools, swimming through small rapids, and walking along embankments. Try the obstacle course in Oppdal, situated 10–16 metres above ground, a challenge that requires both team play and mental strength.
A team competition can be arranged, involving a broad selection of activities that test all skills. The event is usually wrapped up in the evening with a delicious meal, a dip in the hot tub and the night spent in a lavvo (Sami tent) or under the open sky.
